Chelsea look to make up for a 1-0 deficit as they host an unbeaten Dortmund side
After a massive win in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund, Chelsea are back in the Premier League as they look to win their third game in a row.
Since taking over the reins from Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter’s managerial era at Stamford Bridge has been nothing short of a rollercoaster as the English manager looks to revive his team after a string of embarrassing results.
The Blues are 11 points short of a top-4 spot, with London rivals Tottenham Hotspur occupying the last spot. A point of concern for Potter & Co. will be Chelsea’s away record as the London-based outfit have been winless in their last 10 fixtures when they have not played at Stamford Bridge.
However, the last time the two sides met in London, Chelsea emerged victorious and the Blues took a 2–1 lead.
With a fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions, a poor goal-scoring record, and several big names on the verge of leaving the club, Brendan Rodgers’ problems at Leicester City seem to be mounting.
The last time Leicester City played a game, a sword could hang over Rodgers’ head, with fans chanting and encouraging him to be sacked.
The Foxes are 15th in the table, just 2 points from safety and 10 points off the top of the table. And Rodgers’ men are officially going to finish the season without any silverware, raising massive questions over Rodgers’ future.
A win against a struggling Chelsea side could shut down some critics while a defeat would be a record 16th defeat in a season for the PL manager.

Tuesday’s 2-0 win by Chelsea against Dortmund forced Graham Potter to make two adjustments. Raheem Sterling is not fit enough to make the team due to a tight hamstring. Reece James missed training on Friday due to an illness. He’s not even in the squad. Mykhailo Mudrić made his first start since 11 February, making his third appearance for Chelsea.
On the right wing back, Ruben Loftus-Cheek also enters the game. Mason Mount, who is still recovering from a pelvis injury, has not made the trip, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not in either due to a back problem. Although N’Golo Kante is not keeping well, he could play when Everton travel to Stamford Bridge next Saturday.

Brendan Rodgers makes two changes from the team that lost at Southampton, but Harvey Barnes is only fit enough to sit on the bench for Leicester. Tate and Barnes, who had ankle problems, went to the bench after Patson Daka and Daniel Amarte both entered the game. Jonny Evans joined the team after undergoing thigh surgery. Viktor Christiansen (ankle), Yuri Tielemans (Achilles) and James Justin (Achilles) are out.

Ben Chilwell gives Chelsea the advantage. When Coulibaly surprisingly takes Chilwell’s corner back to play from the byline as he clears away, Chilwell beats Ward at his near post at the first attempt. Otherwise started extremely shaky, the two sides were canceling each other out.
Daka later equalized for Chelsea. Deep in the Chelsea half, Joao Felix passes the ball to Pereira, who then passes it to Daka. To place a shot into the lower right corner, the striker transfers the ball from his feet to his left foot. However, Kai Havertz put Chelsea ahead before the break.

In the eleventh minute, Chilwell produced a beautiful volley that fooled Ward. Felix hit the right post, Dewsbury-Hall hit the crossbar, and then Felix scored again but was disallowed by VAR for offside. After four minutes the dacoit entered from outside. Kepa was forced to make two excellent stops as Leicester attempted to take the lead. After VAR ruled out a possible handball on Fofana, Amartey caught Havertz in the midriff, infuriating Chelsea. But a clever Havertz Dink put the visitors into the lead late in the half.
